Chapel & Claw
Chapel & Claw is a small-batch candle studio offering transportive scents rooted in folklore, mythology, and the strange corners of history. Founded by Gabriella, each candle begins as a deep dive into the legends and lore behind a particular creature, researched until she can almost smell what that world would be like.
Gabriella translates her research into bespoke fragrances, such as the lavender perfume of a theatre ghost who can't let go or spiced pumpkin for a Romanian tale of cursed transformation. Scents designed to evoke the eerie and the atmospheric with intention and care. Every candle is hand-poured in small batches from vegan soy wax and comes with a full creative tale, accompanied by hand-drawn pencil illustrations created by Gabriella herself.
Crafted for those who read novels with a flame burning nearby. Who want atmosphere with substance. And who appreciate when something beautiful and haunting also has a story worth knowing.

Tha Glass Altar
The Glass Altar is led by Elen Morgan, a Bristol-based tattoo artist and illustrator who brings her distinctive line work into the world of glass.
After teaching herself glass engraving in October 2024, Elen quickly expanded into stained glass in December 2025. She creates one-of-a-kind engraved and stained glass pieces, each entirely hand-drawn and designed by her.
Influenced by her tattoo background, her bold yet delicate illustration style translates beautifully into glass — merging detailed line work with light and colour. Still early in her stained glass journey, Elen is excited to keep exploring where the medium can take her next.

Spirit & Wick
Jen, founder of Spirit & Wick, is a lifelong candle lover who turned her passion into something of her own after years working in hospitality. Drawn back to witchcraft and the idea of finding magick in the everyday, she began creating candles as a way to weave intention into daily life.
Each candle is hand-poured in small batches, with thoughtfully blended scents designed to feel personal, meaningful, and quietly magical — little rituals for the everyday.

Ella Chedburn
Ella Chedburn is a multidisciplinary artist based in Bristol. For the past five years she has been developing Cyberlore - a project that playfully uses plant folklore to heal digital problems. This has manifested digitally (as a VR experience and film) plus physically (as a book, plant scans and cyanotype prints - all available at The Haunted Bookshop).
Her wider practice blends scientific, mystical and speculative research. The forest appears again and again in her work as a place entangled with opposites: ancient folklore and scientific discovery, whimsy and exploitation, horror and healing. These ideas inspire the portal-filled trees in her cyanotypes, lithographs and etchings.

Lazuli Remedies
Lazuli Remedies is a small herbal apothecary offering botanical skin and body care, lovingly handmade by Celeste in small batches. Her creations are crafted using herbs and flowers grown on her own allotment, sourced from local organic farms, and respectfully foraged from the land.
Celeste works with whole plant infusions, drawing out the full spectrum of a plant’s natural compounds to create skincare that’s gentle, nourishing, and deeply connected to the earth. Thoughtful, slow-made, and rooted in tradition—these are remedies your skin (and soul) will thank you for.

Matilda Parker
Matilda Parker is a local multidisciplinary artist, dividing her time between her studios in Stokes Croft and France.
Her work draws on wabi‑sabi — the beauty of imperfection — or what she calls the Fuck It Philosophy: releasing the pressure of perfection, trusting intuition, and welcoming play and surprise into making.
She also runs creative workshops, where she celebrates the belief that we all carry creativity inside us — sometimes we just need a space that gives us permission to remember that.
Deeply inspired by nature and the tactile world, her practice connects earth, hand and heart.
Including a couple of pics of me at work in case you need them.
