Monday, 30th March
Cord Cutting Masterclass with Kirsty Harris
Reclaim your energy and release the ties that keep pulling you back.
In this in-person masterclass, we will explore the energetic cords that form between people and how these connections can affect our emotions, thoughts and personal power.

Tuesday, 31st March
Interview with Nadia Attia - author of 'Verge' with Suki Broad
Join us for a special evening of dark imagination and creative insight at the Haunted Bookshop!
Local Bristol writer Nadia Attia, author of the folklore-inspired fantasy horror novel Verge, will be in conversation about her haunting debut. Blending myth, dread, and lyrical storytelling, Verge has captivated readers with its eerie atmosphere and deep roots in folklore tradition.
During this intimate interview, Nadia will share her creative process — from the first spark of inspiration to crafting the unsettling world of Verge. Discover how folklore shaped the novel’s dark edges, how horror and fantasy intertwine in her storytelling, and what it really takes to navigate the publishing journey as an emerging author.
Nadia will be interviewed by Suki Broad, founder of Bristol’s Women’s Fantasy Writers Group, who will guide the conversation through craft, creativity, and the realities of bringing a novel into the world.
Whether you’re an aspiring writer, a folklore enthusiast, or a lover of beautifully dark fiction, this promises to be a fascinating and inspiring evening.

Fortnightly on Thursdays, starting 26th March
The Tarot Space
The Tarot Space is a relaxed fortnightly tarot gathering held on Thursday evenings at The Haunted Bookshop.
It’s a welcoming, judgement-free space to explore tarot, practise reading, share insights, and connect with other card-lovers - whether you’re completely new or already experienced. Bring your deck (or just your curiosity) and settle into an evening of reflection, conversation, and intuitive connection.

Monday, 20th April
Invisible Pain Workshop
Join us for a gentle, community-centred gathering for people living with invisible disabilities, chronic pain, endometriosis, difficult or debilitating periods, and those who have been harmed or dismissed by the healthcare system.
This is a free, low-pressure event where we’ll use drawing as a tool to explore and express pain—physical, emotional, and systemic. No art experience is needed. Drawing is simply a way to give shape to experiences that are so often minimised, misunderstood, or made invisible.

Saturday, 25th April
Board Games Night at the Haunted Bookshop
We've made our board games longer, so you get even more time to play your favourite games!
Join us after hours at the Haunted Bookshop for an evening of dice rolls, card shuffles, and friendly competition in our delightfully spooky space. Whether you’re a strategy mastermind, a casual party-game fan, or just in it for the laughs, this is a low-pressure, welcoming night to connect with fellow game lovers.
Bring your favourite board games to share (or jump into one from someone else’s collection), and feel free to bring your own drinks to sip while you play. Come solo and make some new friends, or gather your crew for a cosy night among the bookshelves.
No experience required — just a love of games, good company, and maybe a taste for the slightly mysterious.
